Early this morning Bench 2 Bench Technologies on S. State College Boulevard in Fullerton caught fire, bringing firefighters just after 3:00 am, according to Fullerton Fire Department Division Chief Tom Schultz. Bench 2 Bench is a high-density circuit interconnects manufacturing plant.
The firefighters determined that the fire started in the manufacturing area, and the sprinklers helped keep the blaze under control until firefighters arrived. Thankfully, about 45 firefighters from Fullerton, Anaheim and Orange County Fire Authorities got the fire under control in about 30 minutes. A hazmat team arrived to make sure the fire had not reached any hazardous materials in the plant.
This 3,000 square-feet facility may be the business owner’s primary source of income. Right now, that business has stopped production, which means the owner’s income has stopped – but he still needs to make all of his payments, from property fees to employee payroll. How will they get this money if their manufacturing plant is not manufacturing?
Hopefully they had an emergency plan in place with Milestone Building Group. We work with Orange County businesses to create a strategic plan to minimize business interruption, and do what it takes to make sure you are not out of business any longer than you have to be.
Luckily, the hazmat team determined that the plant is safe, but the building will still suffer damage from fire and smoke, as well as water damage from extinguishing the fire. How long will that take to repair and restore? A manufacturing plant cannot be replaced; therefore, they need a restoration company that rises above all others. Our team of professionals, both in the office and out in the field, has a combination of experience and expertise that other restoration companies in Southern California cannot offer.
Call us now to schedule an appointment to create the strategic plan for your Orange County business, so when disaster strikes you will be back in business before you know it.
